Wind Turbine owners have often wanted the ability to reliably and automatically shutdown their turbine, now you can!

Users can define up to 9 'Triggers' by defining the parameters in which an auto-shutdown will be performed. These parameters include:

Wind Speed
Battery Voltage
Turbine RPM
Turbine Amps
Turbine Watts
Grid down
Event duration

Each Trigger definition can include one or more parameters, so redundant triggers can be created, from simple events to complex ones.

Manual shutdown/restart are provided via the PowerDashboard menu, in addition our FREE remote access Smart Client program (PDSmartClientPro) provides the ability to remotely shutdown or restart your turbine!

Here is a screen that shows some sample trigger definitions:

Also you get another screen where you can test your triggers and shutdown system:

This screen allows you to enter desired data point(s) and override current system settings so that you can test out that a shutdown actually occurs.

*DataQ and Relay Board are required in order to provide manual and auto-shutdown. A relay board is needed because the DataQ digital outputs are TTL level and too low to drive an electrical contactor directly.

Below shows how the devices are typically connected:
