PowerDashboard software requires a license key to be operational, once downloaded if you do not have a license key, please visit our Order Now page. A license allows you to install the supplied registration key on a single computer. Your personal information is highly encrypted and contained within the registration key, so protect this information and do not distribute it.

PDLite software package is FreeWare (free to use) - and does not require a license key! It is derived from the PowerDashboard software and has similar (but limited) capabilities. It is offered at no charge to provide users with a simple and useable monitoring software.

PDSmartClientPro remote access software packages does not require a license key, and is free to use

The PowerDashboard distribution contains an advanced Smart Client application included (no source code supplied) for those that would like to remotely access their installation.

For those that would like to 'roll their own' remote access software, sample code for a basic remote client is available for download at no cost or restrictions. This is a very basic remote access client that can easily be modified to your specific requirements, there are no frills/bells/whistles but it is a good start for those that need it.

The sample code is written using C# language and is for Visual Studio 2008.

PowerDashboard Requirements:

	Xantrex XW series inverter and/or Xantrex XW SCC (solar controller), or use shunts for other equipment.
	Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, XP or Vista operating system (Win 2000/2003 has USB interrupt issues)
	900mhz CPU
	50 mb memory
	10 mb disk space
	RS232 or USB 2.0 port (depending on dongle choosen)

Required Computer Interface (from Xantrex XW inverter to computer):

	Apox (CanUSB or CanRJ45) or
	Easy Sync (CanUSB or Can232)

Optional Equipment:

	DataQ DI-148U Controller (to measure turbine RPM's, volts and shunt use)
	DataQ DI-148U-SP Controller (to measure turbine RPM's, volts, shunt plus anemometer data)
	Davis 6410 anemometer (base unit, transmitter, etc are *not* required - just the bare anemometer!)
