  Thanks for the cudos,

It is still a project in flux and truely a labor of love.

Right now have been on crutches last 3 months due to broken foot, and once back on my feet will again continue with the saga...

Wow, this is truly impressive. Your highly skilled, and by documenting this project, you\'ll undoubtedly help a lot of people who are contemplating installing a wind turbine. Since you cover every facet of the process and all the components this is useful regardless of where they are at in their own installation.

Extremely well done.

re-posting part of the message that was truncated-

I found your log when searching for foundation designs for my wind turbine test tower. I was planning on putting up a monopole for up to 10KW wind turbine, but might contact AN about one of their lattice towers. I\'m hand digging the foundation for my tower and trying to figure out when to stop digging. So far it is an inverted pad/pier with a 12ft x 32in pier under a 5ft diam x 5ft pad. -rc

This is a great log for a fantastic project. I really like the brake feature, the telescoping stub tower and boom crane. If you haven\'t already selected an inverter, I\'ve found a pretty cost effective new from power-one, with fully programmable power curves to match the turbine. Very high efficiency with up to 6000 watt capability for less than $.50/watt.

This site was created to cronicle the building of my Wind Turbine, hopefully it will help you if/when you build or purchase your own.

I hope that the information contained within it will provide you with additional insight to the construction of Wind Turbines.

Feel free to leave any comments/suggestions here.
